We are looking for a passionate Service Leaders for Outside School Hours Cares in Inner Brisbane. In this role you will lead a team of educators to provide high-quality care, ensuring the service meets all legislative regulations while fostering a safe and engaging environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, manage staffing requirements (including rostering and recruitment), and ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Law.

  • Lead the development of Before School, After School, and Vacation Care programs that align with the "My Time, Our Place" framework and support children’s learning and development.

  • Facilitate learning through coaching, mentoring, and supervising educators, while managing team performance and holding regular meetings.

  • Build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with the school, families, and the diverse local community.

  • Manage the Child Care Management system (bookings/cancellations), family accounts, and adhere to the service operational budget.

  • Ensure a child-safe environment, manage risk, oversee food provision (menu planning and safety), and strictly adhere to Child Protection policies


Requirements

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent approved

  • First Aid in a Childcare setting, National Police Check, Blue Card and Child Protection Training (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards.

  • Experience in leading a team and managing administrative duties.

  • Experience with 120+ place sites
  • Demonstrate resilience, strong decision making and problem solving abilities
